Written and directed by Carmen Jara, the book is argued with a dialogue between the characters they play Jesus, San Juan, San Pedro and Santiago, with Judas, Annas and Caiaphas.
The Garden of Gethsemane, or Los Olivos, is staged in front of the temple, supported by classical music and sounds of a band of drums and trumpets, while the actors move and express.
The play ends with the kiss of Judas and the Arrest, after which Jesus of Nazareth entered the church, where will the image of Christ captive, by the sculptor Antonio Campillo, who paraded with the Virgin of Solitude, the same author, and then held the parade of Forgiveness.
Carmen Jara has recovered with this play, performed since 2006, a popular tradition Ceutí interrupted in the mid-fifties of last century, but has left memories rooted in the population, to the extent that some of the players then I remember the name of the character they played.
