The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, along with the Mayor of Ceuta, Manuel González, today opened the new school works 'Event Aledo' Childhood and Primary Education in this county, a facility that has involved an investment of 3,303,146 euros and can accommodate a total of 450 students.
Sotoca welcomed the launch of this school "as it significantly expands the number of school places, thereby responding to the needs of education in this part of town," adding that "we continue to work in construction of schools in the region, even in a period of economic crisis, as we go through. "
He also thanked the cooperation of the municipal corporation of Ceuta and support to move forward with educational projects in the municipality.
The new school is two lines, has six classrooms and 12 Primary Children, which is expanding educational opportunities in the town of Ceuta in 450 educational spaces.
This school year has started Child classrooms, where 53 students study, and the next course will start primary school hall.
Facilities include a gym, dining room and multipurpose room.
The Ministry of Education, Training and Employment has made several investments in the municipality.
In 2008 the school expanded Juan Ayala and made various improvements in San Roque, for a total of 470,000 euros.
Last year, 40,000 euros were invested in the IES Felipe de Borbón, other center has budgeted € 450,000 for works to expand its facilities.
Ceutí Township currently has five centers and Primary Education, and an institute of secondary education, with a total of 1,855 students enrolled.
