Ruibal (Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, 1955) is a musician who acts professionally since 1978, unorthodox and self-training, which includes in her compositions sound echoes and forms from diverse cultures, with generous support that gives flamenco rhythm and harmony.
Author of the texts of their songs, tells and portrays them more credible and unreal characters, wandering beings and uprooted, with a clear link with Spanish poetry, especially poets of the generation of 27 and Rafael Alberti and Federico García Lorca .
He has also composed songs for the film, among others for the film by Pablo Carbonell "Atun y chocolate" in Mice Coloraos TV Canal Sur, as well as for other artists as Martirio, Ana Belen, Javier Krahe, Monica Molina and Passion Vega.
His discography consists of "Dune" (1983), "Cuerpo Celeste" (1987), "The skin of Sarah" (1989), "Pension Triana" (1993), "Contraband" (1997), "Ladies First" (2001), and "What I said your mouth" (2006).
