The city of Ceuta has initiated the first activities with the public community revitalization project of tourism "CHORD", which integrates the city along with nine other European populations of Greece and Italy to promote their culture and traditions.
The main objective of this project is to develop a common and sustainable strategy to exploit the tourism sector through the creation of innovative cultural services.
Ceuta is in 2010 and 2011 a laboratory for innovative cultural experiences add value to tourism.
The first step was to enhance the resources available to the town, with a range of museums, entertainment and art to offer visitors to enjoy during the weekend in the form of package tours that include a tour of the Museum 7 fireplaces, a bike ride through the Open Air Museum and make purchases in handicraft market.
In this market, workshops for learning and practicing ancient skills such as chipping, falconry, making flutes and pony rides.
In complementary fashion in the showroom Cutural Center, showcasing the photography exhibition "Ego Sum You" by Torrego, the artist gives a workshop related to their work.
In the House-Museum "Antonio Campos" develop modeling workshops.
Complete the offer concerts and theatrical performances and film screenings in the municipal auditorium.
The activities included in the "Chord" began last weekend and will continue on March 21 on 18 April and 16 May.
