The Ministry of Agriculture and Water has completed the restoration of the Natural Park of Ceutí Peri, which involves an investment of 50,000 euros, funded under the collaboration agreement with the Obra Social La Caixa.
Among the works performed, include treatment to prevent excessive soil compaction, weed removal, reforestation of the area with native plants and installation of drip irrigation.
Has also removed the obsolete items in poor condition in the areas of public use, have improved the trails that meander through the park and created educational infrastructure and environmental character to promote respect for natural resources.
The director general of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, Pablo Fernández, said that "in addition to environmental restoration, have also been adapted access for people with physical disabilities."
