Municipal Auditorium Ceutí morning hosts representing the play "Days of Wine and Roses", an analysis of self-destructive alcoholism and its effects on society of the American middle class, be extrapolated to other countries and mentalities.
From a television production of JP Miller in 1958, premiered in 1962 the film version of the play starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick.
"Days of Wine and Roses", then garnered major awards in national and international competitions: 2 and 5 Oscar nominations, 3 Bafta, 4 Golden Globes, 3 Laurel and three other nominations.
"Days of Wine and Roses" went to the theater in 2005, becoming the original JP Miller in a story of love and self-destruction for only two characters.
Two human beings loving each other and destroyed in a desperate attempt to stop drinking and go back to who they were.
The version shown in Ceuta is played by Carmelo Gomez and Silvia Abascal.
