The restaurant "El Albero" the hotel "Villa de Ceuta" and brewery "Domi" have won first, second and third prize respectively in the culinary competition of "I kebab route" from Ceuta, held during the April.
The awards ceremony was held on May 7 in the hall of the City of Ceuta, which sponsored the contest, with the collaboration of "Vegamediapresss", "Exclusive Dipper", "Estrella Damm", "Claumi" and "Eurocaviar" .
The choice has been made the consumers themselves, who scored with a grade from 1 to 5 their preference after trying at least twelve of the twenty spikes offered, although the overall assessment of the participants has been the outstanding, both for the quality of the spikes and its presentation.
Among the voters were drawn Iberian ham, 100 liters of beer, lots of organic products and caviar.
With more than 43,000 tapas served already during the first half of April for the twenty bars, restaurants and cafes participants, it is estimated that by the end of the month exceeded 60,000 spikes.
"A success for the cuisine of Ceuta", as the Councillor for Tourism, Worship Ayala, who said that the initiative will be continued with other similar calls to attract visitors to Ceuta and encourage neighbors to enjoy their own pubs.
