Martínez Ruiz studied law, he has collaborated on art and music of various kinds and has written poetry and drama, with themes of manners and ethnological type.
His works have a leaky abstract figurative and symbolic, very colorful, and original perspectives.
They highlight the experimental intention, especially in sculpture and ceramics, in a search of empty space and movement, hence working with lines and analytical developments.
Moreover, the author also presents his book "The devil with his tail," a finalist for the "Premio de Novela Mario Vargas Llosa" organized by the University of Murcia.
It is an amusing chronicle of a people who could be any of the Segura river bathing, which reminds us that the author retains more than roots of his homeland.
The exhibition opens at 20:30.
