A total of 22 unemployed people over 25 receive theoretical and practical training in the fields of masonry and landscaping, 11 students in each, the new "Job Shop" that has just begun in Ceuta, promoted by the local council.
Employment For Councilman of the City of Ceuta, Matías Sánchez, this program aims to improve the employability of older people, some of them long-term unemployed, in order to facilitate their employment or change of activity.
Funded by the Employment and Training Service of the Autonomous Region with 449,000 euros, students will practice performing their jobs matching green areas, the upgrading of cycle paths surrounding the population and other works of public utility and social interest , including the removal of architectural barriers.
One year, students, women and men by fifty percent in addition to signing a contract with the city paid at 1.5 times the minimum wage, receive adequate training for the occupation to play, alternating with work and professional practice
They all get a certificate issued by the promoter which contains the number of hours of participation in the program, the level of theoretical and practical experience and training modules taken.
