The Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment has awarded the contract for the general collector wastewater The Torraos, in the municipality of Ceuta;
jobs that have an investment of 299,000 euros financed by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union.
This is a new collector of 1,642 meters in length, consisting of a pipe 500 mm in diameter, which will substantially improve the sewerage system making it more efficient from an energy point of view.
It will benefit some 1,000 people living in the urban area of ​​this district.
This collector provide hydraulic capacity and solve current congestion problems and deficiencies of the sewage network.
It will replace the existing drive, which is very deteriorated, resulting in losses and even episodes of wastewater discharges into the surrounding ditch, because pumping failures.
