Work on the new general collector of sanitation in the hamlet of Los Torrao Ceutí start soon.
This was communicated on Monday September 21 the Minister of Water, Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, the mayor of the municipality, Juan Felipe Cano, in a meeting that they maintained in Murcia and also attended by Councilman Works and Services, Jesus Hernandez.
This infrastructure will have an excess of 486,000 euros to be contributed by the regional government, through the Directorate General of Water of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water investment.
This project aims to improve and to settle definitively the evacuation of wastewater from Torraos, eliminating the existing pumping station (Ebara) having numerous operational problems and high maintenance costs throughout the year.
"It will build a gravity collector to resolve the problems of the current facility," Cano explains, who notes that "the infrastructure is obsolete, it is very expensive to maintain and has many bugs that cause some cases of water discharges waste into the ditch. "
"With the proposed solution, the pump is removed with consequent costs involved," says the mayor.
