The City of Ceuta has concluded a series of works to improve the rainwater collection system in the area of ​​the town bike path, at around Carmen district.
A work carried out by operators under Consistory municipal funds and will benefit the Zurbarán, Goya and Velazquez streets to future rainfall.
"It's an area that has problems when it rains small floods, which have improved the infrastructure that collects rainwater those facing the arrival of the next rains," said Councilman Works and Services, Jesus Hernandez.
The mayor points out that these works have consisted mainly in expanding the diameters of the pipes that collect rainfall, whose dimensions are insufficient when the rain load is important.
These works are part of the plan of actions being undertaken by the local Town Hall for the collection of rainwater in different areas of the municipality, such as the construction of a collector in the street Tejera already at full capacity.
