On the evening of Thursday June 25 it closed at school, "San Roque" of Ceuta the first edition of "Active Program" of the municipality, a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Social Policy and the local council.
To round off its service users classes shared a meal with the mayor of the municipality, Juan Felipe Cano, councilors Jesus Garcia, Francisco Hernández Vidal and Pure, and the teacher of the course itself.
"We Participants transfer their high satisfaction and the City Council, aware of the health benefits of this course, you want to promote through the Cultural Center from September new training activities that provide continuity with the creation of the course 'Go Active' aimed at those who have been part of this program or for those who want to start in therapeutic physical activity, "says Cano.
The "Active Programme" which in its inception in Ceuta has had a group of morning and afternoon, has as main objective to promote physical activity, therapeutic from collaboration between health professionals Health Center and City Hall.
"The idea is that doctors prescribe exercise as if it were a drug to patients with risk factors or chronic diseases," says the mayor.
As part of the Health Plan 2010-2015, this free program that relies on the work of the professional Health Centers Primary Care Health Service of Murcia is divided into a series of 30 sessions spread over three weekly sessions of one hour.
