The City of Ceuta has entered a new phase of its Municipal Water Infrastructure Plan (PMIH), with which it is now proceeding with the replacement of existing water supply pipes for human consumption in several streets in the hamlet of Los Torrao the municipality.
"We are replacing PVC and fiber cement networks whose lifetime exceeds in some cases 30 years, so that your life is already over," said Councilman Works and Services, Jesus Hernandez.
These efforts also involve the installation and operation of infrastructure to comprehensively improve service to subscribers and network performance.
A PMIH which has a total investment of 516 670 euros and has now entered its final stretch.
