The City of Ceuta, through its Department of Health, held on Saturday April 25th a basic first aid course in which participants also received training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of defibrillator.
Organized in collaboration with the Directorate General deEmergencias regional government and Civil Protection of Ceuta, this course was held at the Multipurpose Building of the town and had a total of 8 hours of training in the morning and evening.
"This course is directed to the volunteers of Civil Protection of the town, so they could expand or consolidate their training in this area first aid" says ceutiense mayor, Juan Felipe Cano, who came to class and even encouraged to perform CPR practices lowered the supervision of one of the monitors.
