The IES "Felipe de Borbon has concluded its participation in the European project" Leonardo CHATT "whose purpose was to implement new techniques in education through the use of coaching in the learning process. The last meeting took place in late last March at school "Vrij Katholiek Onderwijs" Opwijk (Belgium), where 20 representatives from schools in Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Wales and Spain participated. At this meeting were addressed and resources methods that teachers need to develop these new educational techniques to get students actively involved in the process of teaching and learning.
During the two year duration of the project has organized five meetings in which students and teachers have worked together to implement new techniques through the use of coaching in education.
Among the final results achieved highlights the vision of what should be the teacher in 2020.
Pilot
The IES "Felipe de Borbón" during the first quarter of the course and with the participation and support of a group of students in vocational education, has developed this pilot project which investigates using techniques of "coaching" to improve the quality of teaching and learning in our education system.
