"Unemployment continues to fall in Ceuta. That is a clear and exciting reality as shown by data provided by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF)," says the mayor of ceutiense municipality, Juan Felipe Cano, noted that this decline is being spectacular in the youth sector.
However, despite these good data Cano does not lower our guard.
"We are not satisfied and continue to fight against unemployment", says the Mayor of Ceuta.
And is that between December 2013 and December 2014 the fall in unemployment in the youth segment of the town (from 20-24 years) is located in the 12'63%, more than double the average reduction in regional unemployment ( 5.85%) and national (5.39%).
A SEF statistics that show that in the past year unemployment has fallen year on the locality, a 1.75%, with spectacular positive data reduction: 30-34 years (9.20%), 25-29 ( 8'85%), 40-44 (8.43%), 35-39 (6'52%) and 45-49 (6.25%).
"The main goal of this council is to continue to fall and unemployment will continue supporting policies for job creation, entrepreneurship, commercial promotion and attraction of new businesses in our town," said Cano, who recalls that "much remains to be done" and that in this 2015 his government team continue to improve these figures.
