The Reading Center Los Torraos of Ceuta hosted on the evening of Thursday December 11 free talk "Zoraya: from Ceuta to Sultana of Granada", which was given by the chronicler of the town, José Antonio Marín Mateos.
"This year marks the 400th anniversary of the expulsion of the Mudejar of Ceuta" said the speaker, who said that in the paper among other topics explained "how a local girl called Zoraida meaning 'Lucero of mañana'- became sultan of Granada ".
