Reduce light pollution and CO2 emissions to the environment.
That is the objective of improved street lighting in various roads and parks of the urban core of the town of Ceuta City Council plans to undertake in the near future and which has received a grant of nearly 44,000 euros the LEADER program.
The works, which must be completed before May 30, 2015, will have a maximum deadline of four months and will take place in various enclaves of the municipality, for example the school environment "Martinez Rico", the Near the Plaza Juan Carlos I, Angel Street and Avenue Guirao The Lanterns.

So, proceed to the replacement of optical groups of lights that produce light pollution of the environment;
installation of regulators / voltage stabilizers that allow a reduction in light output of the luminaire, thus reducing CO2 emissions by excessive energy consumption and precise wiring;
the replacement of ornamental type luminaires located in pedestrian streets and parks do not allow change of optical group or heavily damaged by measures which do not produce light pollution;
and review of control panels and installation of control equipment to reduce the hours of nighttime lighting performance.
