A group of 30 students in the areas of gardening and municipal services in municipalities such as Ceuta, Murcia, Alguazas or Lorquí began Monday November 17th a free course called "Palm Trees, Pruning and Management of red palm weevil", organized by the City of Ceuta and the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia (FMRM).

"This pest has arrived in the municipalities of Middle Vega and therefore, it is necessary to have personnel ready to provide the best treatment and remedy" says ceutiense Councillor for Agriculture and Water, Carmelo Hernandez, noted that Course participants will receive a diploma certifying completion of this training.

This course has a total of six teaching sessions, taught in the local Multipurpose Center (w / The Streetlights) through Classroom Training FMRM and provide necessary knowledge to participants about the variety of palms, diseases and treatments, pruning techniques, safety and hygiene in this paper ...
