The downward trend in unemployment in Ceuta is consolidating as evidenced by the data provided by the Regional Employment and Training Service (SEF), which are at the 7.18% level to reduce unemployment in the town in the last year.
"They are above average nationally (the 5'86%) and regional (the 6.44%) figures," said the councilman ceutiense Employment Juan Lorente, which states that in September 2014 the downward trend also was confirmed by a decrease in the number of unemployed in the municipality of 2.82%, reaching a total of 1,137 people.
"They left the unemployment rolls 33 residents of Ceuta in that month, to reach a total of 88 in the past twelve months," said the mayor.
By gender, the population decline in unemployment of Ceuta has been reflected in greater magnitude in the last twelve months in the male segment, where the slope of the unemployed (74) almost five times that of females (14).
In terms of age groups, creating jobs in the past year has affected more relevant to the 35-39 and 40-44 years (15'34%) and within the youth field represented by those on 20-24, 25-29 and 30-34 years (13'60%), doubling in both cases the fall in unemployment in the general assembly of the people.

"Since this is basic Consistory promoting job creation and thus develop both initiatives focused on attracting investment and businesses to the town facilities and arbitrate all those entrepreneurs who wish to settle in the town," says Lorente .
In this line of work recently Ceuta City Council signed an agreement by which he became associated organization of the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the regional government, strengthening its listed as promoter of active employment policies.
"In this context, we will provide the labor practices of youth unemployed township enterprises with the main objective of combating youth unemployment," says Lorente.
