Intervention in this college includes reform of the toilets used by students of early childhood education, work that was undertaken during the past year, and those in the area of ​​primary education, a work which has just been awarded and will be out after the summer.
The secretary general of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, Manuel Sánchez Marcos, this morning visited the center accompanied by the mayor of the town, Juan Felipe Cano, and the Councillor for Education and Culture, Ascension Nicholas.
"This type of work is essential to ensure that our students attend school in the best possible conditions. In this case, moreover, the investment made by the Ministry will have a double benefit, making the CEIP San Roque and center more sustainable by reducing its energy bill. "
This intervention is in addition to seven other actions of reform and preparation undertaken by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities in educational centers of Ceuta, which involves an investment of 4,311,926 euros in the last five years and have included construction of a new center and Primary Education.
During the visit, the Secretary General of the Council stressed the involvement of the educational authorities of the town, as well as their teachers and the entire educational community, bilingualism and the initiative '+ languages'.
