The Ministry of Agriculture and Water, through the Directorate General of Irrigation and Rural Development has allocated a total of 30,429 euros from the Leader Community Initiatives to improve the facilities of the company 'Electro Vega Media Service', located in the industrial area of ​​Ceuta and specialized in the maintenance, sale and rental of industrial machinery.
The project, part of the Rural Development Programme for the Region of Murcia 2007-2013, involved the renovation and expansion of facilities and its endowment with new furniture and equipment, and the installation of air conditioning.
The Director General of Irrigation and Rural Development, Julio Bernal, Leader stressed that supports such initiatives "because both contribute to improving the working conditions of workers and the socio-economic situation in rural areas."
This project is included in the line of support for the creation and development of micro, has been run by the Local Action Group Association for Integrated Rural Development of the Municipalities of the Vega del Segura, which includes a total of ten municipalities.
Its funding comes from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), which covers 75 percent of the total.
The rest is financed equally by the Ministry and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.
