"Local Coordinating Board gender violence" of Ceuta was made this morning after a meeting in the city council with interested and competent parties in the prevention, monitoring and intervention related to the mistreatment of women.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of Prevention of Domestic Violence, Verónica López, the mayor of Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, the Councillor for Social Policy, Pura Hernandez and responsible, care center for victims of gender violence "( CAVI Towers Cotillas) of the Guardia Civil, Local Police, Center for Health and Social Services and Employment City of Ceuta.
The purpose of the table is to improve early detection criteria, analysis of high-risk situations, also lack of coordination among stakeholders, and promote action strategies in all areas affecting women.
Juan Felipe Cano underscored the willingness of the city of Ceuta in creating an entity to coordinate action on gender violence, based on their own need to contribute to better care for observation, analysis, acceptance and closeness with women affected.
The mayor, a suitable instrument, constantly renewed, remain attentive to the demands of ceutiense woman about her identity, integrity and freedom as citizens with equal civil rights is created.
