A total of seventeen Ceutí unemployed were trained in sewing textile to access the labor market through the repair, processing and recycling of clothing and accessory.
The CEO of Social Policy, Leopoldo Navarro, Mayor of Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, and the Councillor for Social Policy, Purification Hernandez diplomas awarded this morning to the course participants in the plenary hall of the town hall.
Navarro congratulated the students for their courage and animosity to leave their homes in search of work and choose their training and personal growth as a way to get it.
New seamstresses were instructed in the use of hand tools and machine at work, a useful skill for both domestic work and to use the lessons in the commercial arena.
The course has been taught by the NGO Project Abraham at the Cultural Center of Ceuta.
