In this performance the Guardia Civil has enjoyed the cooperation of citizens

The Guardia Civil Murcia has developed a research aimed at eradicating the theft of copper wire in Ceuta, which has culminated with the arrest of four people in Molina de Segura and Sewer as perpetrators of a crime of burglary.

Within this research has been able to clarify the theft of copper from a transformer irrigation, also recovering all of the stolen effects, several copper coils, which after being brought to justice have been returned to their rightful owners.

These services are framed within the "Plan of police response to the theft of copper wiring," which the Guardia Civil de Murcia has enabled to detect and eradicate any criminal activity related to the theft of the metal wiring.

Thanks to the cooperation of citizens, the Civil Guard became aware of the commission of a robbery at an electricity transformer irrigation community, then developing an investigational device in order to collect all possible clues to clarify this crime.

The agents moved to where the authors found that, using force, agreed to the interior of the current transformer and stole several copper coils, causing serious damage to the system.

Parallel to this research, other agents in Sewell surprised a group of people circulating with a van loaded with large copper coils.

Coordination between various Civil Guard patrols allowed relating the crime committed in Ceutí with those identified in Sewell, so we proceeded to recover all of the stolen effects and made the arrest and subsequent remand in custody of the four members of this criminal group.

Detainee

This action has proceeded to the arrest of four people suspected of a crime of burglary, identified as:

- Spanish, 36 years and resident of Murcia

- Spanish, 22, a resident of Sewell

- Spanish, 31, resident of Murcia

- Spanish, 30, resident of Murcia

Three of those arrested have a history of committing similar offenses.

Effects seized:

He has recovered all of the stolen effects, that after being taken into custody has been returned to its rightful owner.

Detainees, recovered and proceedings initiated effects have been made available to the Magistrate's Court in Molina de Segura (Murcia).

This project has been developed by members of the Guardia Civil in Molina de Segura and Sewer, thanks to the cooperation of citizens.
