Tourism as a generator of employment is proposed as an important focus for local development, as highlighted at the meeting that the Local Committee for Employment of the Vega Media today held in the city of Ceuta.
In this sense, technical and regional administration of the City of Ceuta are already working on the preparation of packages to add value to natural resources, cultural and entertainment to offer to potential visitors to the municipality.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Employment and Training, Ginés Martínez, Director for Employment, Rafael Olivares, Mayor of Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, the Councillor for Tourism, Ayala Worship, Councillor for Employment, Juan Lorente, and other elected officials and technicians from the regional administration and municipalities in the district of Vega Media.
During the meeting, reporting on developments in the labor market and on certain opportunities, ideas and activities to generate employment in the tourism sector.
Was also informed about the availability of the "Platform for training courses on-line" via the Internet (FORMACARM) and the activity of the promoters of employment services to companies in the municipalities of the region.
