The City of Ceuta and Ecovidrio association responsible for managing the recycling of packaging waste glass containers Spain, collaborating in a campaign to facilitate the collection and recycling of glass packaging waste in catering premises in the locality .
The initiative starts with a first phase of surveys Ceutí catering establishments in order to inform the campaign and identify the needs of hoteliers in the recycling of glass containers.
Locals interested in the campaign will be provided with a bucket wheels with 120 liters of capacity to store and transport the waste glass container to the container.
According Ecovidrio, residents of Ceuta recycled a total of 153,230 kg of glass over the past year, representing a recycling rate of 14.7 kilograms per capita.
Regarding the rate of containerization, Ceutí has ​​a glass container of 360 population.
100% of the deposited glass containers are recycled and used to manufacture new glass containers, which brings numerous environmental benefits.
