The Plenum of the city of Ceuta has agreed to the appointment of councilors who are integrated with functions delegated to the Local Government and other agencies, as well as part-time or five of them, saving in total gross emoluments going from 158,000 euros to 117,000 euros, 26 percent less than that assigned to the magistrates released the last legislature, including the mayor.
The first mayor, Juan Felipe Cano García, receive EUR 30,000 gross per year, representing a saving of 33% over the allocation of the former mayor.
Two-time councilors have a gross annual salary of 24,000 euros and three others have part-time, with 13,000 gross per year, while the four remaining council members of the government team will not receive any compensation.
The plenary also approved the powers which will hold the elected councilors: Worship Bolarín Ayala, 1st Deputy Mayor and Councillor, Delegate of Economy, Finance, Personal, Employment, Trade and Tourism.

Moreover, the new municipal corporation also agreed to reduce the prize money to local political groups, which will have a fixed component of 2,500 euros to 1,500 euros and a variable component of 2,500 euros to 1,300 euros per councilor, whose implementation is a reduction of 33%, with a saving of 13,400 per year.
The Plenary approved the appointment of the magistrates involved in the collegiate bodies in integrating the city of Ceuta, which shall belong to the mayor, represented by Carmelo Hernandez Commonwealth Taibilla Channels, for Ascension Nicholas in the Commonwealth of Municipalities of the Vega Media, for Jesus Hernandez in the Consortium for Fire Fighting, Carmelo Hernandez, the Board of the Consortium for Solid Waste, by Jesus Hernandez, the Consortium for the Construction of an indoor heated pool, and Ascension Nicholas, in the Partnership for Development (LEADER).
