The president of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), Charo Quesada, and the Mayor of Ceuta, Manuel González, visited today the completion of the work of connecting the Wastewater Treatment Station of Ceuta (WWTP) with rafts regulation of the Community of Irrigators of this town, whose community members will have additional water for their irrigation, mainly tree crops.
The action represents an investment of EUR 1,297,887.08 has been to connect the STP to the raft of regulation through a pipe and a derivative term to the irrigation ditch of the Community of Irrigators.
The works have been divided into two phases, the first of which has connected the raft of regulation with the irrigation ditch, through a pipeline of 2,236 meters and a diameter of 400 mm, with a pumping plant.
The investment was EUR 483,834.35.
In the second phase of the sewage has been linked to the conduct of the first phase in the irrigation ditch, through a chest of junction, a line of 3,100 meters with a diameter of 400 mm and a drive of two pumps, power lines supply and a transformer.
The investment was EUR 814,052.73.
The connection of the WWTP with the raft of inheriting from Ceuta, with a capacity of 200,000 cubic meters, achieved cost savings and improved flow of purified water management assigned to these irrigators.
