Students of the Institute of Bachillerato "Felipe de Borbón" in Ceutí staged the rejection of the society towards gender violence with a manifesto and various performances held today in Municipal Auditorium, in collaboration with the Department of Women of this council.
The mayor, Manuel González, and councilors of Women, Introduction Lopez, and Citizen Participation, Sonia Almela, presented the event, which began with the reading of a manifesto calling awareness to the abuse in relationships couples, at work and in the social sphere, and refers to three fragments on the lives of three important women.
The event continued with the addition of "Carmina Burana" and the representation of various fragments of staging and choreography dance alluding to the sexist arguments.
Singer Marty sang a song about domestic violence and animated chanted by students pyrotechnic effects.
During the ceremony, attendees were provided with a white ribbon as a symbol of rejection of violence against women.
