Directors of Social Work at La Caixa, an organization that assists in organizing and funding workshops, presented with the above policy the goal of the cycle, besides being a social recognition of family caregivers, is to offer information, advice and support necessary to assume their responsibilities and to reconcile all areas of your life and enhance their emotional and physical balance.
People who have to care for disabled relatives or elderly, are under great mental and physical pressure may even lead them to neglect themselves, among other reasons due to a combination of personal emotions difficult to handle.
In social terms, are facing difficulties at work and possible social isolation and helplessness, and the family bosom to changes in roles and deteriorating relationships with family members.
With the slogan "A keeper, Two Lives, the workshops will teach participants to manage these changes and control the various challenges inherent in their situation so that they learn to use his time to make decisions, assume paper and contact the person you care.
Along with various exercises to assimilate these lessons, family caregivers learn techniques of music therapy, self-massage, relaxation and breathing.
