The Mayor, Manuel González, has signed an agreement with the president of the Association of Senior and Family "Intergenerational Solidarity, Ana Isabel Esteban, to develop joint actions by both agencies to provide greater access to government resources and other private agencies have for them.
The inclusion in the information society and new technologies, the approach to existing resources for these recipients are some of the objectives of the Convention.
It also covers the training of their families and caregivers, the development of prevention of dependency and promote active aging.
Course on Information Technology and Communication
As part of this morning we developed a course on Information Technology and Communication for over 55 years at the Centro Cultural de Ceuta.
It submitted a Scientific Portal "specializing in Social Services for older people, free access for users, families and social service professionals.
Students attending the course received information on access to care services, as well as grants and benefits for people in situations of dependency.
Also practical exercises on using the Internet.
