The Mayor of Ceuta, Manuel Gonzalez, director of the business area of the Obra Social "La Caixa" opened on Friday a computer room for seniors in the Pensioner's home in this town.

The new equipment, with an investment of 25,000 euros, consists of different storage media and media art, to be used in preference to the teaching of information technology for members of the club.

Along with learning word processing, Internet browsing, using email and digital photography, all from a didactic perspective suited to users, IT resources will also be used for acquisition of other cultural and social knowledge.

Moreover, the Obra Social "La Caixa" has driven the association of older volunteers in order to enhance the active role of this group to reverse their knowledge among its members.
