The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia, within the framework of the services established to prevent and prosecute drug trafficking, has developed the operation 'BOYFRIENDS' that has culminated in the dismantling of an active point of sale of cocaine in a home of the Ceutí municipality, where 100 doses of cocaine, a shotgun of shotguns, a modified detonator gun and abundant material for the dosage and distribution of the drug have been seized.
A young couple has been arrested for the alleged authorship of the crimes of drug trafficking, illegal possession of weapons and against traffic safety and, after being brought to justice, they have been imprisoned.
The investigation began when the Civil Guard was on the trail of a young couple, based in the municipality of Ceutí, which in 2017 was already arrested for drug trafficking offenses and, apparently, had resumed its criminal activity in the municipality .
Investigators found that they had occupied a property, where they resided and where, apparently, they carried out the sale of narcotic substances to regular consumers who came to the immediate vicinity of the property.
The Civil Guard established numerous and discreet police devices that allowed to verify that, in addition to providing the substances to the people who came to the meeting points established in the vicinity of their home, the suspects moved to neighboring towns, such as Alguazas, Archena or Lorquí where they met with other clients.
The result of the investigation has been brought to the attention of the judicial authority that has issued the corresponding entry and registration orders for two buildings located in the municipality of Ceutí.
Recently, in a large police device established in the area, the Benemérita has registered the house occupied by the couple where 100 doses of cocaine have been seized, a modified detonator pistol as well as an agenda with notes on alleged drug transactions and a huge amount of cuttings of plastic bags prepared for dose distribution
In the second home, the family home of one of the suspects, a shotgun has been seized with the guns cut out and the serial number erased.
In that act, the agents have arrested two people, a man, 29 years old and a woman, 26 years old, both of Spanish nationality and with a police record for crimes of the same nature, as alleged perpetrators of the traffic offenses of drug, illegal possession of weapons and against traffic safety, for driving without permission.
The BOYFRIENDS operation has culminated in the deactivation of an active retail drug point of sale, established in a Ceutí home occupied by a couple who, according to the investigation, could have sold between 50 and 70 daily doses, a volume close to 100 grams of cocaine, which would have generated significant economic income, proof of which is the possession of high-end cars and large displacement motorcycles that were usually driven by them, although both lacked permission of driving.
The arrested, the drug, effects and vehicles seized, as well as the proceedings taken have been made available to the Court of Instruction number 1 of Molina de Segura (Murcia), whose owner has ordered his entry into prison.
