The Councilor Delegate of Social Welfare of the City of Ceutí, María Encarna Tormo Vidal, recently attended the II Day of Child Friendly Cities of the Region of Murcia, where proposals have been presented for the implementation of a Municipal Childhood Plan and the promotion of child and adolescent participation at the local level, as well as the procedure to obtain this seal.
Child Friendly Cities is a UNICEF-driven program through which a local government is committed to the fulfillment of the rights of girls, boys and adolescents according to the Convention on the Rights of the Child through development and the implementation of a Childhood Plan, a Child Participation Strategy, and a work methodology that takes into account the rights and opinions of children and adolescents in all policies.
Ceutí, which has been promoting many initiatives in favor of children: intersectoral table of health for children and adolescents, European projects SPAHCO, OuRoute and Walk-A-Story, program Activa Familias ... is very interested in being part of this network of cities Committed to the little ones.
