The Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has built two collectors to collect water from the rains and has rehabilitated part of the drinking water supply network of the municipality of Ceutí, actions in which it has invested 200,000 euros.
The counselor Miguel Ángel del Amor inaugurated these infrastructures and said that these actions will serve more than 700 local residents.
To make the rainwater collectors, 350 meters of polyethylene pipes of different diameters have been used and sinks and grids have been installed to collect the water.
"In this way will avoid possible flooding in the houses of the urban area of the municipality," said the counselor.
On the other hand, the renovation works of the supply network were carried out to solve the problems of leakage and constant breakdowns, given the age of the same.
For this, 650 meters of polyethylene pipes of various diameters and the corresponding household connections were installed.
At the end of the works, the restoration of the pavement, sidewalks and affected services was carried out.
