José Virgili Square is hosting a series of workshops and educational games for younger
The city of Ceuta has joined the celebrations of World Environment Day.
This morning in the Plaza José Virgili (across from City Hall), have set up four tents that have visited the residents and children from local primary school.
In one of them has information on Environment Day, delivering brochures to visitors.
Another has been a scented shop, which has been taught to make bags aromatic natural products such as lavender or mint.
A third tent was the workshop "Reuse and decorate ', in which children have developed reusing clips leather pieces that they have painted.
Finally, one last tent has been given, from 13.00, a copy of pine to all those who have gone through it.
The delivery was attended by the Director General of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, Pablo Fernández Abellán, whose counseling (Agriculture and Water) has supported the actions.
During the morning, have also been organized in the center of the plaza environmental education games for children, which the council has invited a refresher to overcome the heat.
Today's activities are attached to the photo contest 'school Fotomaratón on the Environment', organized by the council in the industry, led by Joseph Abbot, whose winners will be announced shortly.
