After the heat of summer the City of Ceuta has launched the work of pruning and cleaning parks, gardens and public spaces of the town.
A work that is being done by municipal workers, supported by students of mixed youth employment and training program about gardening and agriculture subsidized by the Employment and Training Service (SEF).
"At the start of the bike path trees," said Councilman Parks and Gardens, Jesus Hernandez, highlighting the help of young people in training.
"The main objective of this pruning in municipal parks, which takes place annually at this time, is to stop the fall of seed and leaf debris that then clog the gutters and storm drains grids," says the mayor.
Training program
In this work the students of the SEF program, which began last April and will last six months involved.
With a grant of 140,000 euros, whose initiative this remunerada- practical part is aimed at improving the employability of young unemployed under 25 municipality to facilitate their employment.
Moreover, its conclusion pupils receive the certificate of professionalism that will assist in their integration into the labor market.
