Delivered prizes of the school competition "Ambassadors of recycling" of Ceuta (10/02/2015)

On the morning of Tuesday February 10th Mayor of Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, and the Councillor for Education, Ascension Nicholas, have delivered the diplomas of "recycling ambassadors" school environmental competition, sponsored by Ecoembes.

Thus, local authorities have visited three schools participating centers "Diego Martínez Rico", "Juan Ayala" and "Incident Aledo" - to deliver his diploma at all participating schools, which have also been rewarded with a story about recycling and an article from recycled paper made by local craftsman Arcadio Hernández.

"The overall winner of the competition was Asensio Abenza Maya, 6th of Primary Diego Martínez Rico ', who is also has rewarded him with a tablet," says Nicholas.

The "Ambassadors of Recycling" competition was primarily aimed at children in the municipality promote waste separation among adults.

To do this, they should be photographed with different adults at the time of depositing waste in yellow and blue containers.

This year, the City of Ceuta has decided to allocate funds provided by Ecoembes for these campaigns in the town in two ways: firstly, to this contest "Recycling Ambassadors" and, secondly, to recycling workshops parallel to sessions of the "Power to Resist".

"This is a project 'Grundtvig', funded by the European Union, whose main objective is to educate parents to be less permissive alcohol to their children," explains ceutiense first mayor.
