The Superior Board of Guilds Ceutí presented today in the parish of St. Mary Magdalene the poster and the book of the processions that take place on the occasion of Easter, and gave the person who will deliver the opening speech that start with celebrations, Purification Hernandez, who is councilor for Social Policy of this council.
The mayor, Juan Felipe Cano, the president of the Board, Pedro Ayala, the parish priest, Manuel Jódar, and showed herald the image chosen to illustrate the poster, which is itself Ceutí patron, St. Mary Magdalene, in the tradition each year to capture images of the different brotherhoods passion.
The Brotherhood was founded in 1932 and is venerated image Valencian sculptor Salvador Castillejos.
During the event, presented the awards to the winners of the "What is Easter to you", which involved all primary school students from the five public schools in Ceuta and the hamlet of Los Torraos.
After a classical music concert "Brass Quintet at the Conservatory of Murcia, was presented the book of festivities.
During Week processions Ceutí brotherhoods parade in the "Blood of Christ", "St. Mary Magdalene", "Our Lord Jesus", "San Juan Evangelista", "Lady of Sorrows" and "Christ the Light".
