Mayor and Council of the City of Ceuta released waive pay extra (27/07/2012)

The mayor of Ceuta, Juan Felipe Cano, and the council released its government team have given up the Christmas bonus in solidarity with municipal officials and employees of the consistory.

The measure was announced by Speaker of the Municipal People's Party group, Adoration Ayala, during a plenary session last night, in which the mayor revealed that the transfer of the municipal coffers to pay part of the plan austerity undertaken by the municipality that has affected different services.

Worship Ayala stressed that all members released from his party and took a first step to alleviate economic burdens to the town of Ceuta allocated some wages, beginning with the mayor, who cut his salary by half of what they perceived first previous councilors , implies that other council members do not exceed 800 euros per month.
