Ceutí schoolchildren are celebrating the start of the holiday in the municipal auditorium, where every day students are concentrated in each school to represent traditional nativity scenes and free argument.

Families and teachers attend as spectators of many short plays, dances and carols, all accompanied by exquisite scenery and picturesque costumes.

Ceuta has a total of 1,130 students divided into four primary schools, together with the hamlet of Los Torrao, with 61 students.

The school population is completed with 790 students from the secondary schools and 182 pupils in the Infant School.
